Isn't this a pretty bank? I suppose it doesn't matter where we put our money - or our overdraft - but I'd think it would be rather nice to have it in a building like this. Mind you, you have to be a Monaco citizen or resident to have an account in Monaco OR (I believe) be in a position to deposit a specific (it's large!) sum of money to open an account. This building faces the casino gardens - in other words it's opposite the casino itself with the beautiful gardens in between. The building you see at the back - it's just peeking above the building is the Millefiore, the tallest building in Monte Carlo.
Your bank is beautiful. We have a new bank. I photographed it on Sunday and also photographed our Community Theatre. I used the theatre yesterday, a bird who wanted me to fly today, and will put the bank photo up tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visits.
A bank? It looks like a palace! Really, really pretty.
ReplyDeleteLovely bank. I love the people in the photo too, coming and going. It fits your town perfectly.
ReplyDeleteMy very old ornate bank in NYC was fab, but it is gone now... progress. I used to love standing in a long line in my bank, due to the artistry --loads of things to gaze upon... now it is a plain grey box so I do most banking online.
Convenient to be situated close to the casino!
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful building. Really a nice building to have a bank & the inside experience must also be quite beautiful...Well captured shot!
ReplyDeleteAll right, is this YOUR bank, Mrs Rich Girl ????
ReplyDeleteLOL
Mine in Sydney is just terribly plain!
No, not my bank Natalie. ha-ha I don't live in Monaco. I live in Gorbio, a village near to Menton and 11 ks from Monte Carlo. Not rich enough to bank in Monaco!
ReplyDeleteand Kate, good thinking. I'd not thought about it being opposite the casino. Mind you, Monaco citizens are not allowed to gamble, not allowed to enter the casino. Residents can, not citizens.
Indeed you would win hands down for having the most beautiful bank!
