I'm in a 'doorways' mood today. One is on Menton DP and this on Monte Carlo. This gate is a couple of streets in from the port. Perhaps not what you'd expect in Monaco, eh? Always expect the unexpected...

This gate is very nice! I'm in the same mood today...
Doesn't look like wrought iron on the bottom; do you know the material. I'm interested in the decoration, too.

I think it IS wrought iron but rather weathered - rusty at the joints and with a bit of a patina on the panel below. I could be wrong tho and will take a proper look next time I walk past.
