Yesterday, we had a building that was perhaps too pretty for a bank. Today we've got this unusual looking building which is located on the corner of Casino Square, adjoining the Casino gardens. Can anyone guess what it's used for? Tomorrow I'll post a photo of the whole building and then you'll see. Clue: it's a public building.
This is absolutely lovely: the roof, the windows everything.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what it could be. I'll guess the roof of the Sporting cinema.
Angela
It's the library!
ReplyDeletePublic swimming pool? I see 2 doorways, so maybe a public toilet?
ReplyDeleteThat's too hard, Jilly - give us a tiny clue, pretty please...
Okay - a clue. Well it's not the Sporting, Angela and it's not a library, Ming.
ReplyDeleteIsabella, I do believe, at the back of this building, there may be a public toilet, but that is not what the main purpose of the building is - if that's English!
So a tiny clue? Well, all towns and cities have these and several of them and you'll find them in most suburbs too. Villages probably don't have them. So this is not native to Monaco, as it were.
Over to you.
I have a feeling I am not going to do so well at this game. Give me more dogs!
ReplyDeleteLet's see. A post office. but I don't know why there would be several in one city.
Police station?
ReplyDeleteA cinema?
ReplyDeleteAigars Bruvelis! Well done. It IS a police station.
