I couldn't resist this mixture of a modern facade reflecting the old buildings opposite. The sky appears to have windows that open. Now that would be nice if it were real, wouldn't it? This building is near to the police station and one or two streets in from the port of Monaco.
its so nice - the colors and reflection - I like that some windows are open and the rest closed - looks very nice
ReplyDeleteI think I must be following Kala this morning! The reflection is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI have been to your gorgeous city and a good idea that I can go anytime now via your blog for a rendezvous!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great idea this one :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection!
ReplyDeleteHm...window in the sky...we could close it if it rained ;-)
A beautiful, clear reflection.
ReplyDeleteAmazing reflection on the windows.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo.
I like reflection shots, this is a fine one. and like Beetle (who lives in Cologne, too, like me) I'm glad to see photos of wonderful Monaco. We visited it when we were at Côte d'Azur and I was highly impressed by the beauty of your town. The harbour is just wonderful and the view from there.
ReplyDeleteThese hopper or awning windows are great. And does this photo make anyone else think of an advent calendar, where one opens a panel each day until Christmas?
ReplyDeleteI love the rippling effect the glass gives, reminds me of sunlight on water.
ReplyDeleteAngela
Z - absolutely! I'd not thought of it before but yes, it's just like an advent calendar.
ReplyDeleteClever photo - I like the contrast between old & new.
