Servi Muti

This statue called Servi Muti (Silent Servants) stands just outside the Princess Grace Rose Garden in Fontvieille. It's by the Italian artist, Roberto Barni.

  1. Reminds me of Segil's (sp?) people sculptures.

  4. That Rose Garden looks like a very interesting place. :)

    Are the silent servants blindfolded?

  5. Ming, they appear to be carrying a plank - and yes, Ann I think they are indeed blindfolded.

And Kate, thankyou. I didn't know Segil. Looked him up and find he is Segal (you weren't sure) and yes, the work is so similar-very interesting work too.
