Japanese Garden - 4

A good place to stop, sit on a bench and have a chat - don't you think? The Japanese garden is beautiful but put it in this setting, right by the Mediterranean and it's mind-blowingly gorgeous.

(Thank you so much to everyone who has kindly posted comments whilst I've been away in England. I hope to catch up with your blogs today and tomorrow.)

  1. I agree; it looks like a lovely spot. Japanese Gardens are always places of rest and tranquility, or so it seems. I'm trying to figure out what that tall vertical structure might be. Do you know?

  2. Kate, so far as I recall it's something decorative. I don't believe it has a use as such. Maybe someone who knows Japanese gardens will recognise it?
