I couldn't resist photographing this Monte Carlo lady as I crossed the gardens opposite the Europa Residence on Boulevard des Moulins today. The contrast between Monte Carlo ladies and those who live in the hill villages is vast. Take a look at these Gorbio ladies who live just 13 kilometres from where I took this photograph.

That hair must weigh a ton!
She is way too old to be dressed like that and she should get a hair cut. I like the Gordio ladies because they look like they know something about cooking, cleaning and gossiping. I am shy around ladies who try to look forever young but cannot, for whatever reason, accept their age.

I don't think it is safe for a man to comment on these photos (smile). Other than to say I enjoyed them both.
I guess "big hair" is back again in some quarters. I wonder how she would feel if she read some of these comments?
