Bonnie and Clyde

This looks like it might have been in an old Chicago-style gangster movie, or perhaps Bonnie & Clyde - but I've probably got it all wrong. No idea what the make of this car is or how old. Am sure someone will help me. Fabrizio? It was outside a garage along with a Lincoln Continental.

It's a Citroen Traction Avant from the 1930's. Here's a link to a website where you can learn more about it: http://www.citroencarclub.org.uk.

There must be some great cars driving around MC. A car lovers heaven.

A classic car, quite elegant looking.

Happy new year!

You had asked me what pulled pork is. It is a way of cooking pork shoulder. The method is low heat for long hours of cooking. This way tenderized the meat so it can be "pulled" into individual small parts quite easily.

Gail's Man centered the point. Traction Avant. This one is the 22A (because 22 CV -HP- was its fiscal power)... So great !!!

Do you remember "Borsalino" played by Alain Delon? Bon, celle la !

Oh this is so stunning, my dad had two of these when we were kids, we even travelled from Zimbabwe to South Africa in one of them for a holiday. Thanks for the memory...and Happy New Year!

Its a post 1952 Citroen Traction avant 11F.

The 11 is because it's an 11 fiscal horsepower engine (11cv, 1911cc) and the F is because it's a familliale model, seating 8 people.

Simon, so sorry I didn't respond - I just found your comment in the Spam file. Very helpful info. Thanks. Nice to be told exactly what breed of car this is! I loved it.
