On a level

The majority of streets in Monaco slope - hardly surprising when the Principality is built on hills. This restaurant is the pedestrian street (rue Princesse Caroline) that runs from Port Hercule to rue Grimaldi. As you can see it appears to be having a deck built, presumably so it can accommodate tables and chairs.

Note the orange tree. You'd not lack for fresh orange juice at the moment.

Nice photo. Some kind of fruit on the tree?

Jilly, This is such a charming capture! I love how that loaded orange tree seems to frame the shop. It's certainly been well taken care of by an arborist and has a lovely shape.

Interesting. The first thing I noticed was the orange tree.

BTW. . .In response to our Westminster comments: Uno was certainly a beautiful dog, and he did want that ribbon!

This photo is beautiful and it is the orange tree that gives her caracter, I think that is not very common to see this kind of tree in the streets.
