I think I read somewhere that Harleys are intentionally loud. It started in the early days when the motors weren't made very well, but when they were improved, customers complained that they didn't have the roar they wanted anymore. So now I believe they have both better engines and rumble.
WOW-EEEE. If I rented one of these in Menton, would you sit on the back ?
Laurie, coming from S Dakota, you probably grew up with these. I wonder if Jilly ever heard the story of Ruby Thursday. That was very moving, (the yarn about the German Shepherd), and a good murder mystery to boot.
One of these strolled past us on the autoroute. What a racket! I can't quite see the attraction....Sorry.

ReplyDeleteAdmit it, Jilly. It's yours. ;^)
