A Monte Carlo Summer - the Funfair - Bungee!

Each year you'll find the Bungee bouncers at the Funfair on the port of Monaco. This year tho, it's in a different place to last year so in these photographs you see le rocher (the Rock) in the background.

Last year, they bounced with a backdrop of the yachts in the harbour. Click on the link to see who was having fun then.

There's still time to enter the competition posted on Menton Daily Photo yesterday. No one, so far, has come up with the correct answer - so do have a go.

  1. What a great background! And I love the little girl's pigtails flying up in the air! I find Bungee jumping terrifying though!! You'll never see me doing it....

  3. One of my dreams!
And I love this word "pigtails", "couettes" in French but so meaningful in English!

  5. I've seen those bungee bouncers at the mall near South Street Seaport.

Let's just say, I'm too old and too big to be suspended on those little strings. :-)

  6. Wow! Marvellous capture. I'm tempted to try these, but alas they aren't here. That's my excuse of course.

You caught the little girs at the right moment with her swirling pigtails.

  9. This picture is fantastic! From the portal, the black silhouette of the little girl with her pigtails made me imagine that this could be a sculpture.
