Monaco's beaches are not pristine by luck. Here you see one of the clean-up guys. It's early morning, already people are taking a dip but for this man, it's a working day on Larvotto Beach.
I'm Swiss and like it neat..., wish the beaches here in the US were maintained like the ones on the Cote d'Azur (where I used to vacation while still living in Switzerland).
Hot , back breaking work, but guess that's why your beaches always appear so clean and nice, thanks to these guys.

ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to the life of leisure on the beach? And now he's wearing RUBBER GLOVES... my how the world has changed.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd wear rubber gloves too if I had to pick up all the garbage strewn on a beach. He is performing a great service.
ReplyDeleteA tough and mseey job I think. but wiow, what a great office setting. No cubicle walls, and what a view!
ReplyDeleteIt's sad to realize that beach-goers are just as careless there as they are here. Ideally, such work should not be necessary, but there it is.
ReplyDeleteI become annoyed when people carelessly and thoughtlessly litter, yet here it's providing a job for someone. Ah, life's contradictions!
