A Monte Carlo Summer - Hot Dogs

The young man had been carrying the girl around on his shoulders - he lowered her onto a plant stand by the port. She jumped off and immediately threw her arms around him - a flower above their heads.

Hot dogs in front of a hot dog stand!

Here's to amour, Obama, and... uh oh. Toxic oleander blossoms!?!

Elaine beat me to it about the oleander!

Love this shot -- even though the flowers give a vaguely nefarious undercurrent to romance!

A stunner, even in the portal view. That new camera of yours.. . .what is it again?. . . . is like seeing through your own eyes. Lovely scene, too!

Well done to everyone who noted the oleander. I didn't! And I know they are poisonous.

And Kim, the camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ 18. It's that long zoom that enables me to photograph people without their being aware of it. It's my little paparazzi camera!

Very sweet photo! You must be constantly on the lookout for these moments! You are fast! :-)

Of course on the Riviera you need a paparazzi zoom. You're doing wonders with it. What a stunning shot. I'm jealous (of the kiss or the photo? probably both)

You always get people in the best position.

I've got an FZ 18 & the 18x lens is useful, although it is a little big for me to walk the streets of Nottingham with. I do take it on holiday with me, as I can be a tourist then. But people in the UK now are suspicious of people with cameras.

Nice shot by the way.
