It doesn't take much to make a fairly plain building interesting - a Virginia creeper on the walls and the obligatory washing hanging over the balcony. This block of apartments is in Beausoleil, a stone's throw from Monaco.

This is so charming. I love it.
And I bet the creeper looks stunning in autumn as the leaves go red.
I like the vine, but the clothes out are a hoot. Where are the bloomers?
Oh Jilly,
THis is just great. I like the little design on the balconies and the spiffy awning.
The vine gives the building a provincial look. Very nice shot. Love the clothes and the extra color they add too!
The creeper really adds to the building and I just love the clothes.
the awnings are indeed marvelous and provincial is a perfect way to describe this view. what a treat. Very old world, like capturing a piece of lost time in the middle of a modern world. the clothes too add to the charm! i am surprised they hang them outside still. how quaint.
it seems Monaco is a very picturesque place.
I love this photo. It would be a great subject for a painting.
