Gold

Surely grandfather and grandson at the duck pond in the Casino Gardens. I wish you could have seen the utter pleasure on the man's face - so proud was he of his grandson, he couldn't stop grinning. And he watched over him as if he were solid gold, which of course he is.

  1. How adore-able! Those water gardens are such a refreshing pleasure at any age. they are truly the highlight of any visit to any garden and a personal favorite with everyone. aren't they? Those elephant ears are fabulous. It's surprising to find that Monaco has some water gardens/pools.

They provide refreshing quiet time and marvelous relaxation for quiet contemplation

  2. A wonderful photo and great plants. I admit I'm jealous to see this rich vegetation. It's getting colder in Berlin and autumn (dead leaves) are visible everywhere.

  4. Proud Grandpa. How lovely. Goes with those granddads I posted last week! Oh and the little guy is prescious too. What fun he's having watching those ducks.
