The other day we saw a young girl taking her self-portrait. Today we've advanced to a video.
He places the camera on the plinth. She poses whilst he sets the self-timer and focuses. He runs across and stands with her. Then it's back to the camera to make sure it has worked.
It has.
The sculpture is by Sophia Vari - you can see another and read more about this artist by clicking on the link.

...or they could have asked you to do it, Jilly. If they'd seen your lovely photos they would have done.
Nice story..
It's funny how you keep running into people taking self portraits and videos,lol...If only they knew you are right there!
Ah, video memories they will cherish forever.
THis is turning into such a great series!
They did a self video?? That seems a little strange. Wouldn't you see yourself walking to and from the camera?
Ahhh... anything for the capture!
I'm horrible at videos and perhaps even worse with taking photos (have been known to guillotine my subjects). I would have definitely begged you to be so kind and shoot my head. ;-) Love the Vari sculpture.
I've never seen anyone do that. This is excellent. I loved your photo of the woman'selfportrait session too.
