We've walked up to the bar. I particularly wanted to see the Chèvre d'Or's champagne glasses. You may recall that David from Tamarindo Daily Photo posted photos of the beautiful 'angel' champagne glasses. (click and scroll down) Well, they've changed! As you can see, the champagne glasses now feature a goat and of course chèvre is French for goat. The bartender kindly displayed one of the champagne flutes on the bar.
You can see the decor of the bar in the smaller photo. We decided the terrace was where we wanted to be, so asked for our champagne to be served downstairs.
Tomorrow: pink champagne.

How about one glass here, then one on the terrace? I'm a little thirsty after all that sun...
Oh, Jilly, this restaurant is just absolutely fabulous! And the angel champagne glasses were very pretty, but I'm glad they were able to find a design that fits them so much better!
I just love the composition on the 1st shot! Very nice photo.
very nice old world flavor decor. love the glasses!! it's seems that kind of glass is quite popular in that region. So, what's on the menu?? the outdoor dining seems like the irresistable option too! Great pics.
Beautiful flute!
I love the etching on the metal armor and the fabric of the undergarment. Looking forward to more great pics. Thanks Jilly!
The new glasses are superb. I will have to make sure that my wife does not check your photo today because she might see them and decide she wants to buy goat champagne glasses to go with the angel champagne glasses we have from there.
I look forward to hearing how you enjoyed the lunch. Several people on your site have posted comments wondering how we enjoyed our lunch there in 2002. My wife, mother-in-law and I enjoyed our lunch very much, and we recall having a rose champagne, but we do not remember the menu items that we ordered, although we remember that the food was excellent.
Dave, you made me laugh out loud. My first thought when I saw the picture was "oh no, more glasses for Julie to buy".
Jilly, my mouth is watering for a chilled glass of champagne.
Bring on the bubbles, I am not sure we need to fool with lunch! Merci
