A hole in the wall - so let's put a flower pot in it. I love that people decorate a street even if it's not part of their property - and presumably water the ivy from time to time.

Everything you imagined in Monaco - and more

I am sorry not to know this medieval town. Where is this exactly? It is close to Monaco?
What a beautiful surprise it must be to come upon something like this in an ancient stone wall.
Neat idea---anything to add color to the stone walls. MB
It takes a village.......
Kudos to those Ezeians (sp?)!
Murcia - yes it's a village near to Monaco. It's between Monaco and Nice. It runs like this - Monaco, Cap d'Ail, then Eze bord de Mer (above is the village) then Beaulieu and then Nice.
Lovely detail!
Like yourself, I like it that people take care of their environment and seek to beautify it.
This just screams of Mediterranian/Adriatic coast! I've enjoyed the Eze series very much with all the variations of the view & use of stone in building.
I took a little tour of the Monte Carlo gentlemen group...very nice :)
It looks better than a gaping in the middle. :-)
Lovely tiny idea!
its really neat how ppl care enough to do that like you said - I like how it just fits in that space so perfectly!
sometimes you wonder what it takes for a plant to grow!!
I will use your idea for wall desoration at the back side of my lawn.
