No, it's not clothing hung out to dry but part of an exhibition taking place in the pedestrian street of Monaco -
rue Princesse Caroline. In the smaller photograph you can see part of the street with the main port ahead of us.
It's called 'Artists in Movement' - and this work is by
Helena Krajewicz (click to view more).
Hee! What fun!
ReplyDeleteAmusing bit of art! It reminds me of a blog I stumbled upon several months ago that had photos of laundry throughout the world hanging on outdoor lines. Wish I had bookmarked it. Unusual and amusing, too.
ReplyDeleteA new version of the Beatles "Abbey Road" cover!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is neat. I love how people can make art from anything. I wish I had a mind that worked like that.
ReplyDeleteOh these are great. Can't walk past it without smiling I would imagine!
ReplyDeleteI just love it. So creative!
ReplyDeleteI love this. It's very fun/light!
ReplyDeleteMy clothes don't look that nice when I forget the fabric softener :) .
ReplyDeleteWonderful!! Love it!
Jilly, is it only in one street and only one artist?
Wow!
Maria, yes it's only in one street but lots of artists. I'll show more tomorrow and thereafter till I run out of decent photographs!
ReplyDeleteTotally cool. I love it!! Maybe I will try something like that up here in my woods. People riding by on their horses will freak out. LOL MB
ReplyDeleteStrange but very interesting!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me strongly of an installation I saw in The Hague a few years ago but I'm not sure if it was the same artist. In a small park that leads up to the Escher Museum, scores, maybe hundreds of men's suit coats were hung like this. They were stiffened with something to give them shape. It was striking and disconcerting, like the work in your photo.
ReplyDeletethis is a great job! Very attractive:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful! While still showing Sculptures it's a joy to see other works of art from around the world.
