We at the Port of Monaco. The small photograph shows two boats and not a soul. Suddenly the boats were overrun with kids who were about to set off and take some sort of test or exam. Tomorrow - the examiner.

What?? No yachts, no shining decks, no dark windows? ;- p
Actually, rowing is fun, even tho I haven't done it with such sporty boats. Long live true sportsmanship.
quite a handsome bunch indeed. they are all probably good at their rowing techniques. Or, maybe, just eager to sharpen their skills to see how they measure up in competition against each other??? looking forward to tomorrows photo's!!!

Looks like this is a test they are happy to be taking. What a great looking group of kids!

Nice series of photos. The kids don't look unhappy to be taking a test, do they. I love the still life of the unattended boats in the small picture.
I'd rather be doing that test than any other I can think of right now.
Altho it's a different time and place, these photos remind me of Kala's Honolulu shots.
Happy, healthy, good looking kids. What a great sight.
