Looking down on Fontvieille from the Jardin Exotique it's surprising to see so many roof gardens. In the smaller photo you can see a Judas tree - the pink tree. Note the fire engines and fire station.

Ah, every m2 is important in Monaco!
How much soil must be laid before trees that size can grow? The roots would cause problems I would htink. I thought at first they were container gardens but they're not. Amazing!!!
