The Tennis Ball Flower
In the centre of the roundabout that forms the eastern boundary of Monaco and France, is a display of Tennis Ball Flowers - the tournament itself is just a few yards from here.
Yesterday, Nadal and Murray hit a few balls for the crowd in front of the Palais Princier on le Rocher. Click on the link to see the photograph from NIce-Matin this morning.

Who would-a-thought. A clever idea to make something beautiful and promote the Tennis match. MB
This definitely made my day! :)
Thanks, Jilly!
Are you sure they aren't lemons?
An unusual but eye-catching display. I imagine it is quite successful because of its unusual nature.
I was too busy watching the Masters (of golf) this weekend to know that the tennis masters was on too!
Hi Jilly, thanks for popping by. I can't imagine this would stay like this for very long in parts of the UK - maybe I'm wrong! Can just picture the kids grabbing the balls and utter chaos ensuing!
This is very cool! I love the creativity ... not your normal use for tennis balls -:)
