In the centre of the roundabout that forms the eastern boundary of Monaco and France, is a display of Tennis Ball Flowers - the tournament itself is just a few yards from here.
Yesterday,
Nadal and Murray hit a few balls for the crowd in front of the
Palais Princier on
le Rocher. Click on the link to see the photograph from NIce-Matin this morning.
Who would-a-thought. A clever idea to make something beautiful and promote the Tennis match. MB
ReplyDeleteThis definitely made my day! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jilly!
Are you sure they aren't lemons?
ReplyDeleteAn unusual but eye-catching display. I imagine it is quite successful because of its unusual nature.
ReplyDeleteI was too busy watching the Masters (of golf) this weekend to know that the tennis masters was on too!
ReplyDeleteHi Jilly, thanks for popping by. I can't imagine this would stay like this for very long in parts of the UK - maybe I'm wrong! Can just picture the kids grabbing the balls and utter chaos ensuing!
ReplyDeleteThis is very cool! I love the creativity ... not your normal use for tennis balls -:)
