Leif - it was completely empty. I was there for a private party and so wandered about with my camera! Not a soul to be seen except an hotel employee just outside this area.
Breathless! And since you always seem to be at the right place at the right time, did you visit their wine cellar? ;) (I still want to be a caviste at the Hotel de Paris when I grow up!)
Maria, I have already done a series on the wine cellars of the Hotel de Paris, which are the cellars for the SBM hotels in Monaco, and so includes the Hermitage. 25 February to 11 March 2009 (look in the archives).
Magnificent! The plants look almost unnecessary in this fabulous room.
ReplyDeleteThe word spectacular comes to mind.
ReplyDeleteFantastic - it's like a jewelry box inside! Where is everyone? Did they clear the room for your photo?
