It's been a while since we had a Monte Carlo lady, so here's a pretty one on the Rue Princesse Caroline which is the pedestrian street leading up from the port. This street has benches in various places all the way up, so there's a usually somewhere to sit and chat.
I was intrigued to see what she was reading - looks like a guidebook perhaps?
ReplyDeleteThis is a great portrait, Jilly. I maxed the photo to see the book that she's reading. Looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been faithful about blogging and commenting lately because we decided to paint every room in the house, both ceiling and walls. What a job, and we've just barely begun; it takes longer than we had thought. But I'll be back sporadically!!
Yes, I've missed them, and of course the cars!
ReplyDeleteShe's got a phrase book. Perhaps she's a tourist and needs to translate the French into English. I know I would when I visit sometime in the near future.
Bonjour!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo. And she has a Harrap's dictionary (it looks like to me anyway).

I wondered about the book too. I'd like to think it was a Romance.
