Dusk - and the lights have come on in the Casino Gardens.
In the smaller photo, the lights are set against the backdrop of a beautiful tree. I believe it's Chorisia Speciosa or more commonly, the Silk Floss Tree.
I love classic streetlights, and yours are superb. A grouping of three is most unusual, and artistic. I know that modern streetlights throw out a lot more light, but they are so ugly.
For photographers, it is a challenge to take photos of buildings without ugly modern streetlights, telephone poles or wires, street signs, etc., but with streetlights like these, they would enhance the photo.
Oh Jilly, once again we think alike. I have a similar shot ( without the palm fronds of course) that I took outside the Opéra Garnier! I'ts one of my favorites. Both of yours are just stunning! V
