The Lamborghini

This Lamborghini is being parked by one of the doormen at the Casino. If you are interested in cars, you only need to wander around Casino Square - it's an 'open-air car showroom' - and only the best cars are given the honour of being parked in the square. The rest get put in the underground car park.

  1. When dating, Jim owned a Corvette (long gone now...darn!) and we went to lots of gymkhanas to watch the cars perform. This one in your photo, not quite as sleek then, was one of my favorites. I also liked the sound of its name!

  2. I've certainly learned that if you want see every expensive and exotic car on the market, you need to hang arouond Monte Carlo for a little while! Amazing!

  3. This is quintessential Monte Carlo. Fast car. Valet parking. A boutique in the background. If you could replace the gawking tourists with glitterati, the scene would be ready for a fashion magazine or tabloid.

In Scottsdale the restaurant and night club valets park the fancy cars right in front of the restaurant entrances to show off the type of clientele inside.

Julie has a classic Jaguar on her Scottsdale Daily Photo site today, but in a very Arizona setting.

  4. MC must be that honest, the driver even leaves the car door open. Were the keys in the ignition too? Nice find.

  7. Gail's Man, the door wasn't left open. In fact the parking guy had just opened the car door and was about to get out. My next shot was of him by the car but it rather masked the car.I think you can just see him in the driver's seat - not very obvious tho.
