The Photographer and the Model

Photographer and model outside the Hôtel Hermitage. In the smaller photo they check out the shots.

Is the walking stick, featuring a bird's head, part of a promotion?

  1. Interesting photo --picture perfect ready so pristine like a mirror reflection upon a mirror reflection,, and so on --

You have the photography taking the picture of the woman who is taking the picture of the model and you have the beautiful glass windows reflecting back and you have the observer looking through the lens of the camera with the photographer and you have the person(s) looking at the picture...

    Wonderful,love great photography

  2. I like the look on the doorman's face as he's watching the other woman enter the hotel, like he's being done out of a job or something.

  5. Great Shot Jilly, looks like the photographer has lots of natural diffused light.

  9. Nicely captured. Looks like the doormen are not too sure about what's going on.

  10. Not to detract from your original subject in the photo but if we're discussing beautiful legs.... I'll have to mention the woman entering the building with her orange hand bag. Photo #1

  11. My first thought was a proud mother with her daughter. Maybe taking photos for an online dating platform?
Anyway, these are typical "Jilly-people's-photos"... Smile. Wonderful! By the way, I always wonder where you hide or if you hide... Or maybe with a big zoom? Anyway, I wouldn't dare to come so close to take such photos of people.

  12. Thanks so much for the comments, everyone. I was actually on the far side of the square and suddenly I saw the two women, one photographing the other - at the time on the grass opposite the hotel. I whizzed across and by then they were outside the hotel and so I got all the shots. I didn't hide at all, but they were totally oblivious to my presence. The doormen noticed me at one point and then ignored me. I think they are used to photographers outside this hotel.
