I was looking forward to your annual photos of the Monte Carlo open, Jilly. Just love the Tennis Ball Flower. I was in Palm Springs during the Indian Wells open and saw lots of matches including Baghdatis beat Federer, and saw close up Nadal practicing with doubles partner Lopez, wow. Would sure enjoy being in Roquebrune ☺ for this one ... maybe another year.
Wow, wow, wow - Jilly, here you exceeded yourself (as we would say in German)! I find the first photo is the best of this year! You pressed the button just in the right moment to catch the shadows as well! And gladly these men are wearing red! First thing which I thought when opening this site today was that the colours remind me of the boxes with spices which you can buy in some villages around like f. e. Eze. Have a nice evening! Jilly, Your photographs just get better and better!! Oh this one is just so right in so many ways.....the color, the light, the movement, but most of all you captured the feeling. You do that so very well. V
well I know I left comments here and on Menton and they have both disappeared. Hmmmm what did I say here??? Oh........I think I said that this was one fabulous photo. The color, perspective, movement, and the feeling you captured here is parfait! V
I used to be mad about tennis back in the 1990's, and still try to watch a few matches on the tellly. It will be interesting to see if Rafa can win here again.
