Top Marques - the $52,000 Golf Cart

This is Garia's Soleil de Minuit and is advertised as 'the most expensive golf car ever made by a manufacturer.' It's made at Valmet Automotive in Finland, which is where the Porsche Cayman, Porsche Boxster and Think City are made.

Aside from the pedigree, the golf car features a built-in refrigerator, a carbon roof, two-colored hand-stitched luxury seats, alcantara roof lining and an exclusive personalization program where you can have the Garia painted in your favorite color or matched to your other car or cars.

The cost $52,000 or 39,000 euros. Let's hope your golf is as good as the cart!

A built-in refrigerator! And, of course, one needs hand-stitched seats. Despite its luxury, it reminds me of carts I used and loved to ride when in India, especially Delhi.

Although I usually walk, I would certainly appreciate the luxury of this cart on some of our hotter days.

In retirement communities in Arizona, people use golf carts to drive around the neighborhood and to the local stores. My parents house was built with a separate side entrance to the garage for the golf cart.

I bet golf carts like this would make quite the scene arriving at the senior citizen center.

Jilly, you did not mention whether this has GPS so that golfers can know how far they are from each hole on the golf course. I think every rich person would need that or they would be looked down on when having their martinis in the clubhouse at the country club.

I'm sure if I owned this golf cart my game would improve!

Hi Jilly, be assured we autoafficianados are greatly enjoying your current photo series here.
I never knew that Boxsters were manufactured in Finland. Wikipedia says:
Like the Boxster, most Caymans are assembled in Finland for Porsche by Valmet Automotive (the rest are assembled in Zuffenhausen near Stuttgart, Germany). Porsche ... confirmed that their contract with Valmet will end in 2012, and the Cayman's production will be outsourced to Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik of Graz, Austria.

When I read Dave's comment this was one of my first thoughts. With a $50,000 golf cart you could risk your senior citizen discount.
