Top Marques - Loris Capirossi's 1934 Ford Coupe
No prizes for guessing this is my favourite car at the show. It was tucked away in a corner, no signs, no notices. I asked someone nearby for information and was directed to the far side of the exhibition where I talked to the UK Racing team and learned that this gorgeous car is a 1934 Ford Coupe, totally restored as you see. It's owned by the well-known Italian motorbike champion, Loris Capirossi. Loris Capirossi lives in Monaco hence the local number plate.

It's a beauty.
Jilly - have you seen the racing car made of begonias on the island at the mini spaghetti junction at Mc Country Club / Park Roman? Very cute if you think of the power and glory of the real cars!
Gina, I'm coming in this week to take photos and will definitely take that shot, although you take your life in your hands at St. Roman trying to get a photo! I remember the flower bikes for the Tour de France so look forward to a begonia car!
Gina, thanks for the tip.
Take care for goodness sake. Or appeal to one of those astonishingly dishy cops at the tunnel entrance to stop the traffic for you!
Fords are my father's FAVORITE car! I now see why! He says that they are Norwegian cars - he calles them fjords!
Gina, yes I can never fail to notice how gorgeous the MC cops usually are. I got stopped at Saint Roman one night as I was leaving Monaco after the fireworks and I can tell you it was a pleasure. They were simply checking documents. France won that year so they were all pleased. So I guess the cops are Frenchmen employed by MC?
Jilly,
I guess they are French, like the firemen.
Yours,
(eagerly awaiting arrest or rescue)
Gina
Love it. Wheres the woman in the slinky black dress and long cigarette holder
What a beauty! He inspired most of the later day american roadsters. Where are the ZZTop when you need them?!
