This stone Greek anchor was discovered in La Baie d'Anao (Beaulieu) and dates back to the 6th century BC. It's on display by the harbour where it was found - Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
I am always suprised how long some objects can survive time. It is incredible, some ancient greek(s) made actually this anchor. Somebody who lived in the same time as Pythagoras.
Fantastic shot of the anchor and the incredibly busy marina in the background.

Really cool perspective shot. Kinda cool that the anchor was made out of stone.
