The Japanese Garden in Avenue Princesse Grace is probably the most relaxing garden in Monaco. There is water everywhere, carp in pools, reflections, changing vegetation and it's cool in this heat. Lean on a bridge, look down into the water and go zen...
beautiful corner
ReplyDeleteA splendid photograph just looking at it creates a Zen moment -- the buildings reflecting the wavy lines and the color tone against the pool of water and vegetation creates just the right drama.

Beautiful picture,...colors are perfect and the reflections are great!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful and tranquil. And, of course, I too have to mention the reflections in the water. I feel like I could spend a long time here just looking at those reflections, which I guess is the idea! You've captured the spirit of the place.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a beautiful garden. But it is closed in the evening. It would be lovely to have a romantic walk there in the middle of the night after partying, with the lights shining on the water.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of the Chinese Gardens in Sydney, where Gail and I got married 4 years ago.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely Jilly. I needed that calming shot.
