A Pair of Heels

Gorgeous long legs and the highest heels in the Metropole Centre.

  1. Eeeeeek !
I just don't understand how anyone can perch themselves on those for more than 30 seconds. It's horrid. How can you do so much damage to your body? And then you can't walk... what a dreadful limitation to your freedom to roam the world !!! To me high heels are a stupidity. Give me good walking shoes any day - I need to be FREE!

OK, I'll have a number of people against me today :-)

  2. Her feet look like they are hurting her veins are popping out.

Too high a heel de-tracks from the over all appearance of the outfit.

  6. I don't know why people would wear that kind of footwear for shopping. But I guess that's why I'm not part of the Monte Carl elite. ;)

  7. Oh dear, these are over the top! I am in total agreement with Nathalie about high heels limiting your freedom of movement. I am of the philosophy, too, that if I can't run in a pair of shoes then I won't buy them. I like to know that if I get into trouble in my explorations I can make a quick getaway!

But then again, there is this nostalgic part of me that misses the days of the classic pump a la Jeanne Moreau, Romy Schneider, Anouk Aimee... Those women were sooo elegant!
