Beautiful photo as is the Menton one -- lovely to see the thumb nail photos in the City Daily.
Ah next year,
Joanny
Lovely perspective in that first photo with all the colored tents of the market!
I like the colorful umbrellas and such. Looks like a nice place to wander.
Leave to you Jilly to find a wonderful POV for your markets! What a great idea and the colors are marvelous.

I really like this image. Very creative
What wonderful colors! Nice theme day photo.
What a wonderful tapestry of canopies! So much nicer to see than the white tent tops!!
interesting.
happy theme day!
How colourful
The best looking tents I've seen today.
Spectacular! Thank you for giving us color today.
Very nice!
I hope to visit a French market soon....
I remember going to an outdoor market at a plaza in Monaco when we were there in 2002. I don't know if this is the one. What I remember most about it is the little dogs of some of the shoppers.
I ABSOLUTELY love this first shot of yours!
Great set of pictures for this theme, the whole view and the human view, excellent idea! Greetings from MC.
I really like peeking through the pine boughs over the faded and bright canvas tops. It is a very lovely image. I like seeing the pretty florist in action concentrating on her design, too. Does this market cater more to visitors or to people who live in Monte Carlo?

Dave, there is only one market so must have been this one. It's in a beautiful square.
And Kim, yes the market caters to locals mostly. I suppose a few visitors might buy some fruit but unless they are renting an apartment they'd probably be eating out.
Fantastic first shot Jilly - very evocative - a real sense (and scent) of place)
Very nice framing of the photo with the soft colours showing through the dark pine leaves.
