Isn't that eyecatching. 95 times out of 100 the little tree would have been pruned away when it was young and insignificant. See what we would have missed!
This is similar to the trees with "walking roots" in Costa Rica, except ours have roots that spread out far in all directions and do not have a central trunk.
I was away and without internet access, so I am just now catching up with your recent posts. Christmas in Monaco looks elegant and expensive, as one would expect.
