Great minds think a lot, when I see these beautiful photos with the grand water reflections I always think of turning the photo and my world upside down, and a couple of days ago I made a comment on someones photo blog suggesting the very same thing, which they gladly accepted and ran with it. Yours of course is positively stunning.
Joanny, I love it when experienced and talented photographers such as YOU make suggestions,as you did with someone else's blog. In fact with this photo, Nathalie suggested I get the one thirds rule right. I had too much of the lower part showing and not enough sky and I recropped it. She was right of course. I know rules are meant to be broken but in this case it's better. Today, on Menton DP I've another reflection photo and I tried it upside down but didn't think it works, as it did with this pic. Thanks. xxx
I love Japanese gardens. And the work you have done on that picture.
ReplyDeleteI didn't do any work. Just cropped the reflection and turned it upside down, Sailor.

Puts me in mind of a watercolour! Monet even? Lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteI think you are channeling Van Gogh and Monet at the same time. This is way cool.
