Right Side Up in the Japanese Gardens

  1. I love Japanese gardens. And the work you have done on that picture.

  2. I didn't do any work. Just cropped the reflection and turned it upside down, Sailor.

  5. I think you are channeling Van Gogh and Monet at the same time. This is way cool.

Great minds think a lot, when I see these beautiful photos with the grand water reflections I always think of turning the photo and my world upside down, and a couple of days ago I made a comment on someones photo blog suggesting the very same thing, which they gladly accepted and ran with it. Yours of course is positively stunning.

  7. Joanny, I love it when experienced and talented photographers such as YOU make suggestions,as you did with someone else's blog. In fact with this photo, Nathalie suggested I get the one thirds rule right. I had too much of the lower part showing and not enough sky and I recropped it. She was right of course. I know rules are meant to be broken but in this case it's better. Today, on Menton DP I've another reflection photo and I tried it upside down but didn't think it works, as it did with this pic. Thanks. xxx

And thanks to everyone for their kind comments.
