Dressed-up ladies are a feature of this Garden Club event. Some with hats, some without as you see here.
One of the most popular features of Garden Dreams is the competition for the best flower arrangement with prizes handed out by Princess Caroline, who we'll see later in this series.
It appears that women's hats are making a resurgence based on the influence of the British royal wedding. I recently went to the annual Maestro's Brunch for donors to the Phoenix Symphony and several women were wearing hats. I did not bring my camera, and if I did I would never have taken a photo of a woman's hemline like you posted today.
ReplyDeleteSometimes when Julie, Sharon, Glenda and I are out and we see someone dressed in a striking way, we will say "Jilly would have gotten that shot."
Oh la la, well heeled Monaco ladies!
ReplyDeleteWhat, no hats on those women? Nothing more delicate looking than lace!
