Here's the list of human resources needed for the race...
650 Marshals
120 Professional Firefighters
30 Reanimation Doctors
40 Doctors (30 on the circuit, 10 for the spectators)
46 Nurses (30 on the circuit, 16 for the spectators)
250 Paramedics (80 on the track, 170 for the spectators)
Nice photo.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they need so many doctors, nurses and paramedics in order to counsel all the marshals about the health benefits of quitting smoking.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you check the Prescott, Arizona Daily Photo site by Julie's sister, Jarart, but her photo today reminded me of your photography. She got a photo of a person wearing a hat similar to you, but you would never see such a person or hat on the Riviera.
This looks like a candid shot of a quiet moment. I think the fellow in the Menton Photo with all the hats on has better looking hats than my fellow today. Thanks for stopping by and by the way, I am not Julie's sister, I am Sharon's sister (Phoenix Arizona Daily Photo) Dave must have gotten in a hurry when he commented because if I were Julie's sister, I would be his sister in law. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the term reanimation doctor - I have visions of zombies wandering the streets of Monte Carlo...
ReplyDeleteJarart, that's too funny. Dave obviously hasn't got his relations worked out, let alone relations of his friends. We can tease him about that! Thanks for the visit.
ReplyDeleteOK. I AM AN IDIOT. (But you already knew that.) I wrote my comment way early this morning, and I must have been half asleep and inadvertently typed that Jarart is Julie's sister instead of Sharon's sister.
ReplyDeleteI should have known that because I know that Julie does not have a sister. After all, I am married to Julie, so I should know who her sisters are.
Maybe I made this mistake because Sharon is such a close friend that she is like a sister to Julie, which would make Jarart another sister. Yea. That's what it wass.
