Looking up - On Aura Tout Vu - Clubbing
At the foot of the beautiful staircase in Villa Sauber (we'll see that another day) is a fascinating display comparing nightlife in the 19th and 21st century. Two egg-shaped structures, standing side by side, house the dolls - here you see the clubbing scene of our time. Tomorrow, we go back to the 19th century and Mme. Galéa's dolls, dressed for a Second Empire 'rout'.

OMG. Too cute!
Haha... But adorable!
Well, I wouldn't go out like that, not even in Monaco!
Ok, maybe the man in the centre of the 2nd photo could convince me... ;-) He seems to be the only man amoung all these women.. Lucky boy!

I think we are too exposed on television and the internet to pop culture's excesses for me to appreciate their commemoration in a museum-type display.
I really like this. It's strange and ironic. It trivializes and mocks something that is by nature trivial.
