The Wedding - Flags

Everywhere you look in Monaco you see flags. The Monaco flag, the South African flag and one that simply says 'Marriage Princier.'

A few more days and Prince Albert marries South African Olympic swimmer, Charlene Wittstock. The civil ceremony will be on Friday and the religious ceremony on Saturday.

  1. Oh finally,
    he's getting married.

Hope it will also be televised just like Will and Kate's.

Oh I'd love to see Caroline and Stephanie. My Mom loves this family, I remember her buying magazines just to catch up on their whereabouts... She adores Princess Grace.

  2. Yay! As much as I sometimes dislike crowds, I would love to be there for that.
Counting the days until I'm back!

  4. Mark, I didn't apply for one. Frankly I didn't think I'd get it. There are hundreds and hundreds of journalists, film crew etc coming from all over the world. however, I now think I just might have got it. No matter. I think I'd have got lost in the crush...I'll watch it on television like the rest of us...

I'm going in to Monaco on Friday evening for the Jean-Michel Jarre concert - having dinner with friends on the port and then will watch/listen to the concert. Will try and take pics. 10,000 people are expected for this, so if you don't get a post after Friday night, send out a search party...

Hi Jilly! Didn't we see this reindeer before??? I remember someone remarked that it looked like at Christmas time... So this reindeer goes with the seasons and events. Very progressive! And of course cute!
