We stayed at the Marriott in Cap D'Ail right next to Fontveille when we visitied in 2002. I do not remember the large buildings at the top of your photo. Perhaps they are new. Hopefully they did not block someone else's view of the sea.
I often wonder if those roof gardens are structurally safe. The buildings look very new but have an ancient pattern to them.
The apartments with an ocean view must be really spendy! I'm curious about the real estate prices there...

No shortage of roof gardens in Monaco. Here are a few in Fontvieille, which is the area of Monaco built on land reclaimed from the sea.
