what a striking portrait!! thanks for the recommendation on A taste of garlic - I have not heard of this and am so glad you have put me in touch with so many other blogs in France - am really looking forward to checking them all out - I was already following Peter and Owen before I cam here but now I have lots more to check out...
He looks rather sad at being fenced in. Our Marmalade loves to travel about the area, but Oscar is quite happy to sit on the garden seat and watch the world go by

what a beautiful kitty!
I bet that fence would not keep an agile cat in very long. Sweet lookin' little thing!
He does not look happy about the situation. Great shot though! :)
Wonderful capture. Love the composition. I'd like to tell that kitty I don't like to be fenced in either. :)
How nice that you can get a cat to pose for you. My guess is that if the cat wanted to climb out badly enough, it could do it.
Oh I love this of course. Looks like friend's two sister kitties. Hers are American Short Hair I think. Could be wrong though.

Poor kitty. He does look a bit peeved. Maybe he could get out, but chooses to stay -- 3 hots and a cot, ya know.
A fine portrait through a fence!
Very nice shot! Interesting realization for that special theme day.
What a gorgeous interpretation of the theme - beautifully executed tones and lines!

If only they could talk. I'd love to know what the cat was thinking at that moment.
Looks so much like the cat I used to have.
I really like this interpretation and it works so well in monochrome. Well done!
Superb image in B&W, he looks like a guardian, very serious and alert! Thanks a lot for visiting.
Just beautiful, Jilly!
