The Aquarium is divided into several zones - the Mediterranean zone, the Atlantic Ocean, the Shark Lagoon (of which we saw a part yesterday) and the Tropical Zone.Tanks vary in size, some with round windows, as above - others square, oblong ...
... and the live corals are absolutely stunning.
There are 6000 fish in the collection.

I love aquariums. Having had the opportunity to snorkel on the Gt Barrier Reef in Far North Queensland and seeing many of the fish displayed in tanks has me in conflict sometimes....but not everyone is as fortunate!
