How's this for a beard! This lovely man was playing the accordion in Beausoleil yesterday and was happy to let me take his photo. Carlo is a member of the Scottish Dance Group of Monaco. He lives in Menton.

I can't decide which I like better - the color or the B & W. Of course, the composition is amazing no matter the treatment.
I knew you have more courage than me! (My photo was taken from far away! I wonder which photo comes next!) ;-)

My children and I have given him many a coin over the years on that corner. What I like about him is that you can tell he sincerely loves to play and is not necessarily there to get some coins. (In my opinion anyway.)
Lisa, I agree. I went to give some money and he said 'if you want' - of course, like you, I did. Such a nice man. Does he play there every day?
I"m laughing thinking about the accordion player in Paris that was not pleased with me when I took his photo but had no coins for him. I'd asked Mary to put some in which she did, but he was upset with me anyway!
