The New Monaco Yacht Club by Sir Norman Foster


Stairway to heaven or perhaps simply a stairway in the new Monaco Yacht Club.  This is slowly rising on the opposite side of Port Hercule to the present yacht club.

    Thirty years ago .. I used to come here (between the port entrance and the Hotel Loews as it was called then), for a swim in the evening. And at that time people were complaining about crowds and how overrun Monaco was, then. When I see this new projects unfold ..

    Love this new tourist attraction of Monaco. Maybe they should organise a sight-seeing tour which shows all the construction projects of Monaco in working. Will change a little bit the usual thing, casino, palace, etc.

    love how Monaco manipulates the very little land they have. based on the projections, this will be a very attractive feature that will not pollute the already crowded area.
