It looks like marble, doesn't it? Or perhaps coloured glass? But as you see, it's simply a reflection, in the sea, of Le Formentor, an apartment building on Avenue Princesse Grace.
This is positively amazing. Brilliant. The question is, if you didn't have a camera and were not looking for photos, would you have noticed, admired, savored and preserved this image?
Jilly, that's your masterpiece of the year I would say. I would have never recognized that it's a building! I thought it's a wall with 70s art with cracks because of age. You should have made a riddle of it for us! I bet no one would have guessed what it is! Have a nice weekend! Barbara from Germany

ReplyDeleteWatercolors colors, quite literally- Leo
ReplyDeleteDave, you are so right. Since I started taking photographs I see things I would never have seen before. It opens one's eyes!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteGreat eye!
Wow that really looks great!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo as usual, Jilly. With that said, that is some eyesore of a building. Such a dated design, and grotesquely sticking out as if out of place.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant capture. I like how you captured an abstract image leaving us to guess.
