Le rocher may be far from Monte Carlo by Monaco's standards, but most people would consider no place in Monaco to be far from any other place in Monaco.
The streets on the Rocher are like dr Jekyll and mr Hyde. In daytime they are perfectly normal and crowded with tourists, in nighttime they are spooky and very quiet...too quiet. I prefer to be downstairs where life goes on.
Super photo, Jilly! I love it! I agree with Domino - the atmosphere is totally different at night! But I like it at night as well! Sitting on the little wall in front of the souvenirs shop, opposite the castle. Enjoying the silence and trying to take some night photos of the palace.
