Thats a very nice picture of stepping children. By making it B&W it could be a Jaques Henri Lartigue photo. The joy and expressions are the same as is the pleasure by the little boy to keep up with the two girls. But only the dresses (a little) and the steps are giving the time away. Well done.
When I was their age, I had a scooter as well. But mine had blow up ties and a seat on the back. I went miles on it. It was made by Raleigh, so locally made. Sad when I had to give it up, but I was getting too old for it, so then my dad got me a bike as a replacement

ReplyDeleteIt is such an excellent photo!
ReplyDeleteA timeless image.
ReplyDeleteWhat perfectly dressed kids. They look like they could be posing for a fashion shoot.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much everyone. The eldest child's wonderfully straight back caught my eye - something very Victorian about her.
